I shot this amazing looking artichoke at the local Saturday Market.What I love the most is that you can see all the layers and then in the middle is its delicate purple heart. I often compare myself to it and all its layers as I have grown and evolved especially over the past two years. This was my late Mothers favorite vegetable which is why it makes this such a special pic.
